I like the carrying-the-clothes-she-arrived-in bit.

Well that was a bit anticlimactic … I was expecting someone to go splat …

I’m pretty sure something’s going to go splat before too long. We’re at the point where Jill has nothing much left in this world, her job sucks, kicked from the band, never enough money. She has manifested her champion form, and the other world is about to pay her a visit and try to kill her. That’ll probably be the final straw. We just saw her temper flare up earlier, I think she’ll be going all out when the champion of the pigs shows up.

Indeed. My only fear is that we have not seen the end of the dude from her band, as I suspect he DOES have qualities of the dog (it has been foreshadowed), and the dogs are looking for a new champion.
I just want to know how she has the qualities of the rabbit.
My best guess is running when startled, but we may also be about to see kicking when cornered.

Awww man! I really don’t want Riley to be dog champion!…..but I can see that working and establishing a good villian and foil for Jill. Kinda like an even more jerkish Zapp Branigan from Futurama

It’s interestingly consistent with Blade Bunny’s concept of “the ex”. This might be one of several intentional parallels we’re going to see.

I like the continued callback to the first page.

I don’t know if someone else has posted this yet. (I did my first read through w/o looking at the comments) but this seems to have a theme of the chinese Zodiac for the 12 worlds.

I don’t know if that has been pointed out yet, but I hadn’t noticed until you mentioned it just now.

This comic is really boring. The drawing is terrible and so are the colors. The plot seems to be “make it up as you go along and see how many disturbed losers from Wookieepedia you attract”.

@ vavavanessa: nobody’s forcing you to read if you dislike…
I just binged the comic, didn’t realize it was so new. now you leave me starving for more? :p

I always like new takes on the “What will you do if you suddenly got super powers”. We’ve all seen far to many “Become a hero” and “Refuse the call”, and we’ve already had a couple of “Become the villain” and maybe a “Panic and hide” here and there.
But this is the first time I see a “Go ‘meh’, go home, mope”. The anti-climax is brilliant!

It does kind of make you wonder.. usual henshin rules put the clothes you were wearing in some kind of hammerspace, then put them back on when you transform back.. but if you take them off, they don’t disappear obviously.. but if you took off your henshin suit, would it just stick around when you transformed back? CAN it come off?
