The catfolk of Singapurr are but one of many forms of Sapient to make their way to Palea after the rise of the Magic Empire. Catfolk are taught music from a young age, and many attempt to get jobs in the business. Unfortunately, they’re really weird looking and make everyone uncomfortable, so most get jobs as waitresses in seedy bars before realizing they’re never going to make it big. With no local industry, a constant influx of immigrants with useless skills, and the constant discomfort of a being a furry creature living in a desert environment, not everybody wants to be a cat.
