Bet you didn’t think that sword was going to come up again. Or maybe you did, if you’re familiar with My Lore and recognized it, I dunno. I don’t get a lot of comments on my comics so I kind of assume you’re all just sitting there dumbfounded at our greatness.
This was a punchline I could have done at any point in the comic, and I was at one point workshopping an arc where Cinnamon/Toast/Crunch were hypnotizing kids by getting the kids to lick them in order to build up to it, but then I decided that was…really weird and off-putting, so that idea didn’t go far.
Thinking back on my childhood, I could swear I’ve actually seen that commercial during my Saturday morning cartoons. Or something really similar. They all kind of blur together in my memory.
Also, yes I immediately recognized the sword.
Was this ENTIRE comic a SET-UP for this LAST PANEL JOKE?!
